(Huntsville/Lake of Bays) Around 2:15 a.m. on October 28, 2024, the Huntsville/Lake of Bays Fire Fighters responded to a structure fire on Aspdin Road in Huntsville.  Crews from Station 1 Huntsville and Station 5 Port Sydney were dispatched.

Upon arrival, firefighters discovered a fully involved single story home with flames through the roof. Fire crews acted quickly to suppress the fire and prevent further damage. The roof and the ground floor of the home were completely destroyed by fire. There...

Community Flag Raising - Poppy Campaign 2024

In recognition and support of the Royal Canadian Legion's 2024 Poppy Campaign, the Town of Huntsville is pleased to be raising the Poppy Flag today at Town Hall. Poppy boxes will be placed at various Town facilities until November 11. Learn more: legion.ca
