(Huntsville, ON)With the spring thaw and changes in weather, half-load restrictions will come into effect March 13, 2023 in Huntsville and throughout Muskoka.

Half-load restrictions occur every year in the spring on select roadways in Huntsville.When a half-load restriction is in place, it means that vehicles over 5 tonne per axe in weight are not permitted to use certain Huntsville roads.

Healthcare Clinic Expands to Unattached Patients

As of Tuesday February 28, 2023 the Huntsville Health Care Clinic (HHCC) will expand services to include primary care for unattached patients. An unattached patient is someone who does not have a doctor or nurse practitioner. If you are looking for primary care as an unattached patient you must call 705-789-1744 to book. 

HHCC will continue to see all patients (by appointment) with cough, cold and flu symptoms, and as of Feb 28th unattached patients.

The Huntsville Health Care Clinic is a new clinic location at 1 Minerva St E (The Annex), to support people with moderate cold, flu and COVID-like symptoms. Health care providers will offer timely in-person care that may include self-care advice, a COVID-19 test (as needed), or prescriptions.  All appointments are scheduled.
